Evolutionary doctrine

Evolutionary teaching is a proposal for a specific approach to issues related to learning and teaching. It involves the identification, description and practical use of both biological and cultural evolution mechanisms. The assumption here is that the general mechanism of evolutionary change is similar at every level where there are objects capable of reproducing independently. In the process of cultural transmission (teaching and upbringing) it is a selective communication of information. The direction of changes in cultural resources, however, depends not only on the quality of the information itself, but on the quality of the environment in which it is transmitted (as well as the changes in the frequency of occurrence of genes in the population, depending on the characteristics of the environment in which the organisms live). This approach, first of all, draws attention to the fact that gene-cultural co-evolution (the cultural transmission grows from the biological characteristics of the species but also changes the conditions in which the genes regulate it), secondly, shifts the focus of activities and reflections of the didactics towards the conditions of the social environment in which information is passed.
