Barrage

Block fire - the way fire is conducted by military subdivisions.

The goal is to create a firewall that will prevent the attacker from attacking. Fire is performed by, where possible, continuous artillery fire of the ground belt between the defensive positions and the enemy positions. The barrier was used primarily in the First World War on the western front.

As in the case of artillery fire, it is about creating a firewall, but on a smaller scale. Usually used when you need to cover someone (like a doctor, an injured person) or something (like a chemical barrel). Generated by continuous fire from a machine gun in a given direction. Bibliography
