Dowmunt of Nalszczan (later called Dowmunt of Pskov, born 1240 - died May 17, 1299) - Mendoga's brother-in-law.
After the death of Queen Martha in 1262, Mendog kidnapped her sister, Dowmunt's wife. In an act of vengeance for this insult, in the fall of 1263, Dowmunt killed Mendoga and his two sons in the ambush: Repeat and Rukla. Treniot was taken over by Lithuania, but in the spring of 1264 he was killed in a conspiracy organized by supporters of his last son, Mendoga - Wojsnica. Dowmunt was banished from Lithuania around 1265. He fled to Pskov, where he received baptism in the Orthodox rite and baptized Timothy. He married Maria - the daughter of Prince Dmitri Aleksandrowicz Pereslavsky, granddaughter of Alexander Newski.
Duke of Dowmunt's sword - During one of the expeditions to Inflanta, Fr. Dowmunt severely injured the master of the inflatable. This sword as a votive offering after the victory over the Teutonic Knights in 1272 was suspended in the altar room at the Trinity Council in Pskov. After his death in 1299 Prince Dewmunt was counted among the saints of the Russian Orthodox Church. The sword is in good condition.
