Herb Spišskiego Štvrtoku

Spišský Štvrtok's coat of arms has been in existence since 1998 and its author is historian Ivan Chalupecký. He represents the figure of Saint. King Wladyslaw in white (silver) armor on a green background. In his right hand he holds a halberd, while in the left two-legged Lorraine cross, which is a symbol of Slovakia. The crown, belt and halberd element are yellow (gold).

Coat of arms refers to the character of Saint. Wladyslaw, who is patron of the local church and unofficial patron of the village. The symbol of the village dates back to the 15th century, when the seal of the saint with an ax (or halberd) was used, surrounded by the Gothic inscription + S. CIVIUM DE QUINTO FORRO (Stamp of the Burghers of Thursday). In the 16th century a modified seal with the same image appeared, but another inscription - S. OPPIDI QVINTOFORI (Seal of the Town of Thursday). It was in the nineteenth century.

In the 18th century the local parish began to use its own seal, so the city councilors created a new small seal on which also the figure of the Hungarian king (instead of the ax was holding the scepter) and the inscription SIGIL. OPPIDI QUINTOFORI 1851 (Stamp of the Town of 1851). After 1906, the town used only the stamped seals.

The village flag has the same color - the upper half is in a white (silver), 1/4 yellow, 1¼ green.
