Andrzej Śródka


Andrzej Stefan Śródka (born 10 June 1946 in Lodz), professor of habilitated medicine, scientist dealing with the history of medicine, history of Polish science and pathophysiology. Curriculum vitae

She is a researcher at the Institute of History of Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences and a head of the Department of History of Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine at the Jagiellonian University's Collegium Medicum. He was also a researcher at the Medical University of Warsaw (II Medical Faculty with English Teaching Unit and Physiotherapy Department).

For two terms (1991-2007) he was the President of the Polish Society for the History of Medicine and Pharmacy, a member of the Warsaw Scientific Society. The author of the biographical dictionary "Polish scholars of the 19th and 20th centuries" (ISBN 978-83-85787-07-5).

She is interested in popular music and conducts radio broadcasts: currently (2012) at the Cracow Academic Radio Broadcasting.

The son of actor Stefan Śródka.
