Herb Chęcin

Herb Chęcin

Coat of Arms of the red coat of arms depicts a white castle with an open gate, two towers covered with three pointed canopies and one window, each with an arcade wall between them. The coat of arms gave Chęciny the office of king Augustus III Sasa, in place of the previous one, whose pattern was lost with the seal of the city during the Swedish wars and plague. It is now known from the found document that the original pattern of the Chęcin coat of arms given to the city by Władysław Lokietek depicts a castle with three towers. Bibliography
