Holy Chao

Sacred chao - a discordian symbol of complementary forces of order and chaos. Shape refers to yin and yang. The pentagon on one side of the diagram symbolizes the order, and the apple of discord on the other - chaos. According to the discordian philosophy of order and chaos, both can be constructive and destructive, and they are not good or bad in themselves. The name chao refers to the knife - the universal principle that governs the universe. In English the name (sacred chao) in pronunciation is similar to "sacred cow".
