Kiden-Hutran
Kiden-Hutran (c. 1215 BC) - king of Elam, successor and brother of Unpahash-Napirisza, the last representative of the dynasty founded by Ige-halki. He was one of the great elite warrior kings. His war expeditions became Babylon, which was then under Assyrian control. During his first expedition he captured Nippur, killing most of the city's inhabitants. The city of Der was the same place where the main temples were destroyed. The Babylonian ruler Enlil-nadin-shumi, who had set up Tukulti-Ninurta I on the throne of Babylon, was forced to flee. In the reign of Adad-szuma-iddiny, the third puppet king of Babylonia, Kiden-Hutran struck again, this time conquering the cities of Isin and Marad, and returned with the spoils he returned to Elam. His fate is unknown. Bibliography
