Leszek Kostecki
Leszek Kostecki (born January 24, 1934 in Krynica, died November 4, 1988 in Poznan) - Polish painter and graphic designer Curriculum vitae
He was born in 1934 in Krynica, and in 1945 he moved to Gdańsk. In 1954 he graduated from the State High School of the Arts in Gdynia and started his studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. In 1955 he moved to the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. Diploma at the Faculty of Painting under the supervision of Krystyna Łady-Studnicka (1960). Since 1961, settled in Poznań. The husband of Barbara Houwalt-Kostecka (Polish poet and painter). He majored in graphic arts and painting. In 1963 the first solo exhibition in BWA in Poznań. He participated in international exhibitions in Brno, Sofia, Hanover, Budapest, Moscow, La Paz. Winner of the Poznań City Award and the Poznań Province.
Co-organizer and commissioner of painting contests. Jan Spychalski in Poznan. Head of ZPAP Poznan Branch. He died in 1988 in Poznań. Bibliography
