Roksolanki, that is Russian girls
Roksolanki, this is the Ruthenian maiden (Roxolanka) - love poem written by Szymon Zimorowic on the occasion of the wedding of the poet's brother - Joseph Bartlomiej Zimorowica with Katarzyna Duchem Dymidecka, which took place in 1629. The work consists of three parts (38 songs the "choir choir" and the 31 songs of the "young choir"), the author's prologue and the lyrical monologue of the Virgin (swata). The Roksolanek theme is both "delight" and "passion" of erotic love stronger than death. Characteristics of the work
Next to the writings of Szymon Szymonowicz, Roksolanki is the most outstanding Old Polish work representing the species of idyll. The song composition is decided by the composition of the song, because the song is a poetry competition, in which 69 people present their animals. The participants are divided into three choirs: the first choir, the maiden eighteen girls, the choir, the youthful one containing thirty poems, and the third choir, the maiden, in which twenty verses present the poems. Choirs of the choirs are preceded by the speech of the Virgin and the dedication of the bridegroom. The logic of the cycle leads through the various instances of unity of happiness and suffering, to remind us in the last song that the world of love is the world of hope, which "dying with dust will dissolve". Tom was released by the poet's brother only in 1654, a quarter century after his death. Bibliography
