Intergraph


Intergraph Corporation (originally M & S Computing Inc.), a company founded by Jim Meadlock in 1969 in Huntsville, United States. According to a 2003 report prepared by Daratech Inc. Intergraph was the world's largest maker of GIS software with a 13% market share after having a 34% stake in ESRI. By the early 1980s, almost exclusively GIS software was developed. At present, its activity is centered around four categories of products: software for designing large industrial installations, solutions for the public security sector, consulting, and spatial information systems. The latter category generates approximately $ 200 million in revenue annually, while total annual revenues are $ 500 million. Integraph has a wide and diverse range of products. Among the GIS software, the GeoMedia family of products is the most important for the GIS dektop market. Bibliography
