Mychajło Chronowjat


Myriad Chronovat, Михайло Хроновят (born 1894 in Rybotycze, died in 1981 in Los Angeles) is a Ukrainian political and social activist, agronomist, cooperative activist.

He studied in Czechoslovakia at the Ukrainian Academy of Economics in Poděbrady.

Since 1926 he has held managerial positions in Maslowice in Eastern Poland (since 1932 he has been a director since 1937 - one of the three managing directors). In the years 1934-1939 he was the chairman of Sokil-Batko organization in Lviv, besides he was a member of the supervisory board of Silski Hospodar, Proswit Society and several others.

From 1940 to 1941, he served on the UCK Board of Directors in Cracow, in the years 1943-1945 a Member of the Military Board of the 14th Grenadier Division SS. He witnessed the crime in the Pieniac mine.

After the war on emigration in Germany - he was a docent of the Ukrainian Institute of Technical and Economic. In 1953 he emigrated to the USA and lived in Cleveland and Los Angeles. Literature
