Rudnik's coat over San
Rudnik's coat over San Old town crest
Rudnik's coat over San has a heraldic shield in the pole. Present in the field heraldically the right blue cross on the horseshoe horseshoe, under it the arrow in the pole downwards; in the left red box half of the golden salmon in the pole, head up and back toward the center of the shield. Over the gold shield crown inlaid with stones and topped with a cross. The coat of arms is a collection of coats of arms of the former owners of the city: Hołobok family Lipnicki and Dolega family Uliński. The coat has been in use since 1988. Rudnik as a private town until the 19th century did not have its own coat of arms, using the coat of arms of the current owners with the added sigillum oppidum Rudnyk. The oldest preserved city seal from the second half of the 17th century depicts the coat of arms of Ciołek, with the image of the bull, which sealed the Drzewicki family. From 1863 Rudnik as a Galician city used a simplified variant of the four-legged coat of arms of Galicia and Lodomeria, with three golden crowns in the first, "Habsburg beam" in the second and the coat of arms of the Duchy of Oświęcim and Zatorskie in the third and fourth fields. This coat was in use until 1988, when the pattern was changed to the current one by Zofia and Zdzisław Chmielów.
