Savarin

Savarin with rum and whipped cream

Savarin - a sweet pastry, a kind of yeast extract.

The cake bakes in a notched form with a fireplace and is filled with sweet syrup, with rum flavor. Grandma Savarin can be served cold and warm. In case of cold feeding, the grandmother's mouth is filled with whipped cream and cherries cooked in sweet syrup. Savarin is served with hot fruit sauce (apricot, currant, strawberry), flavored with liqueur. The hole in this case is filled with fruit, cooked in syrup. In modern cake shops, basic cake is usually prepared the day before, the next day it is filled and prepared for serving.

The name of the cake comes from its creator, Anthelme Brillat-Savarine. Bibliography
