Since 1991, each edition of the festival has its own theme (eg Great Geographical Explorations of the 15th Century, Sea Battles, Great Sailing), introducing new regulations, according to which performers present recitals, which the jury evaluates as a whole.

Among the bands that started their careers at the festival in Cracow include: Four Reflections, Old Bells, Roaring Twenties, Shanty Mechanics, Relatives and Friends of Rabbit, Zejman and Garkumpel. Bibliography
