Krystyna Broda
Krystyna Broda (born 1 April 1951 in Tarnów, died 21 November 2008) is a Polish politician, self-governor, former vice-governor of Tarnów. Curriculum vitae
She completed her law studies at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and her postgraduate studies at the University of Economics in Krakow.
In the years 1990-1994 she was the vice-governor of Tarnów, the first appointed after the political changes in 1989. From 1996 to 2002 in the factory of electric motors Tamel S.A. was a member of the board. Then (until the time of early retirement), she held the post of general manager at the Tarnów Agency for Regional Development.
In 2002 she was elected to the Małopolska Regional Assembly. In the local elections four years later, she effectively applied for re-election. In the third term, she became the chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection and Water Management. She was the chairwoman of the Social Council of St. Łukasz in Tarnow and vice-president of the Social Council of the District Museum in this city.
