In May 2006, "Portfel" was awarded the "Libertas et Auxilium" award by the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection in cooperation with the Center for Contemporary Art. A. Smith and the Association of Polish Journalists.

Twice - in 2005 and 2006 - the author of the program, Robert Stanilewicz, was awarded in the competition for the prize. Władysław Grabski, awarded by the National Bank of Poland in cooperation with the Reuters Agency and the Association of Polish Journalists. According to the organizers, the prize honors those journalists who contribute to increasing the economic knowledge of society by providing information in an accessible and understandable way.

The program is run by Robert Stanilewicz.
