Abessivus (caritivus, caritativus) - a case in agglutinative and inflorescic languages, meaning the absence of a given designatum. Appears mostly in singular. It occurs in the Finnish language. It belongs to the dying cases - it is increasingly replaced by constructive constructions.

Finnish language Construction and use

The end of the abessiv in Finnish is -tta or -tta. Selection of the tip depends on the harmony of the vowels. The same term applies in plural. The case is subject to the exchange of feet and in most cases the end occurs when the core adopts a weak foot. Constructive structures

Both constructions are in most cases interchangeable.
