Golden Age (Athens)


Gold Age - V and IV p.n. in ancient Athens, a magnificent epoch, during which a powerful flowering of philosophies (Plato, Aristotle), literature (especially drama and works left by philosophers), architecture and sculpture took place.

The most famous and most important works were created there; The prosperity of the Athenian democracy also flourished.

From this definition of the Athenian golden age, there is also a phrase of portable meaning (cf. golden age (mythology)). See. also
