Tadeusz Górski - Poles honored by the Righteous among the Nations.

During World War II, Tadeusz Górski and his wife Janina hid in her home in Lviv two years old Jewish girl Alina Roth (now Wasilewska-Kucińska) and her grandmother. Alina's parents were murdered in 1941. At the end of the war, Alina Roth was raised by the Mountain.

On 15 November 2007, Tadeusz and Janina Górski were posthumously awarded the Righteous Among the Nations medal awarded by the Yad Vash Institute. At the ceremony in Sosnowiec from the hands of Yossef Levy, vice-president of Israel, the medal was received by Katarzyna Małachowska, granddaughter of the decorated.
