The individual emblems symbolize the settlements that make up the modern city. Bishop, the attribute of the bishop, means Wojkowice Komorny, which was the property of the princes of Siewierz. Since the 15th century this title was worn by the Bishops of Cracow. The sword, the attribute of the knight, symbolizes the Zychcice, which was the property of various knightly and noble families. The Mill Circle symbolizes the mills on Brynica, which gave rise to the contemporary Kamycom. Previous coat of arms
The old coat of arms Wojkowic had a bipedal shield in the pole. In the right field, red represented half of the white Piast eagle, in the left green-white-red sword. In the base of the wheel, a toothed wheel, a green beam and golden semicircles. At the top of the shield on the white beam black inscription "WOJKOWICE". The coat of arms was adopted by the Municipal Council of Wojkowice in 1970. At that time, the recognition of councilors was gained by the design of Antoni Kluba, then a student of the basic vocational school, as a binding past of the city with its present industrial character. In the period when Wojkowice was a district of Będzin, the coat of arms was not used, after regaining its independence, it returned to the 1970 model. This coat did not meet the standards of modern heraldic art. Bibliography
