Paul Rutherford (puzonista)
Paul William Rutherford (born 29 February 1940 in Greenwich, died 5 August 2007) is a British trombone improviser.
He started his career as a saxophonist, eventually choosing a trombone. In 1970, he set up with guitarist Derek Bailey and bassist Barry Guy, Iscar 1903. After replacing Bayley in 1973 with violinist Philipp Wachsmann, he continued with the band until its completion in 1995. Globe Unity Orchestra, London Jazz Composer's Orchestra, and Mike Westbrook Orchestra.
