Rafał Baniak
Rafał Baniak (born February 12, 1976 in Myślenice) - Polish economist, state official, from 2004 to 2005 Under-secretary of state in the Ministry of Social Policy, from 2007 to 2011 Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Economy, from 2011 to 2015 Undersecretary of State in the Ministry State Treasury. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics and International Relations at the Cracow University of Economics. Between 2002 and 2003, he was an advisor to the Minister for Labor and Social Policy. From May 14, 2004 to November 17, 2005, he served as Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Social Policy.
In 2006 he became director of the Polish Confederation of Polish Employers Lewiatan and then adviser to the president and deputy director general of the Confederation of Polish Employers.
On December 17, 2007, he assumed the position of Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Economy. December 1, 2011 assumed the same position in the Ministry of Treasury. June 10, 2015 Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz announced at the press conference that he had accepted his resignation.
After leaving the government, he assumed the post of Executive Vice President of Employers of the Republic of Poland. In October 2015, he became a member of the newly formed Social Dialogue Council. He is a member of the board of Promocja Polska Foundation. Bibliography
