Marcin Gregor


Marcin Gregor (born October 14, 1794 in Rozstrzębowie near Kcynia, died November 10, 1863 in Konigsberg) is a Lutheran Lutheran teacher, teacher and religious writer. Curriculum vitae

He studied philosophy and theology with a doctorate degree from 1820 at the University of Konigsberg and from 1821 he was pastor of the Polish Evangelical parish. At the university since 1820 he was a lecturer of the Faculty of Philosophy, 1827 professor, from 1840 director of the Polish Seminar. 1829 founded a private school preparatory to the junior high school, was a member of the municipal school deputy, and from 1847 he was editor of the pedagogical journal "Der Volksschulfreund". He published Polish textbooks (co-authored with Gustaw Gizewiusz) and religious literature, some of which have been edited several times. He renovated the church of St. Nicholas and published his story (1841). Bibliography
