43. The edition of the Tour de Pologne cycling race took place on July 22 - August 1, 1986. The rally started with 116 riders and finished 86. The total length of the race was 1490 km.

The first place in the overall classification was Marek Kulas (Poland), second Zbigniew Ludwiniak (Poland), and the third was Miroslaw Uryga (Guard).

The race was played on a difficult, hilly and mountainous route and brought together 9 foreign teams. The main driver of the race was Antonio Coccioni (Italy).
