Z class road

Class Z road - collective road - one of the classes of public roads according to the division introduced by the Regulation of the Minister of Transport and Maritime Economy on the technical conditions which should correspond to public roads and their location (Journal of Laws 1999, No. 43, item . 430). The regulation specifies what technical and service requirements should be met by the class. These requirements depend on the design speed of the road. For the Z class, three design speeds are allowed in built-up areas: 40, 50 and 60 km / h and three design speeds outside the built-up areas: 40, 50 and 60 km / h. Z class roads may belong to the category of provincial roads, county roads or municipal roads (exceptionally). Bibliography
