Mieczyslaw Stusiński


Mieczysław Adam Stusiński (born November 25, 1937 in Bogat, Przasnysz District - died February 10, 2016 in Przasnysz), teacher, poet.

He graduated from the Secondary School in Maków Mazowiecki (1955), a pedagogical course completed with a pedagogical diploma in Ciechanow (1958), the Teachers' Training School in Ciechanow (1961), and an evening study at the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics, Warsaw University. From 1955 he worked as a teacher, the longest in 1971-2006 taught mathematics at the Secondary School in them. National Education Commission in Przasnysz. First chairman of NSZZ Solidarność in Przasnysz LO (1980-81). For many years leading chess player Mazovia. Poet, a member of the Literary Club "Przasnik" and a founding member of the Literary Union in Mazovia (2009). Author of satirical works on political and moral themes, fairy tales and poems for children. He published: Sketches and Trials (Przasnysz 2003), Nursery rhymes (Przasnysz 2006) and Memory Mirror. Tales from the vicinity of Przasnysz (Rich 2009). M. Stusinski's poetic works were published in the Almanac of Przasnyski poets On the Prescription (Przasnysz 2003) and in the Almanac Poetics Mławsko-Przasnyski Opowiadenia (2007), also in the local press and in literary periodicals. He received the Stanisław Ostoja-Kotkowski Medal in the Recognized Artist category (2009) and the Porker Award (2013). He lived in Przasnysz.
