SEECP
SEECP - South-East European Cooperation Process - Inaugurated at the June 1996 Foreign Ministers Meeting in Sofia under the name Neighborhood, Stabilization, Security and Co-operation in South- Eastern Europe.
Full members are: Albania, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro. The association includes Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.
As part of this process, annual meetings are being held to determine the policies that can be used to transform the Balkans into peace and cooperation and the future membership of former Socialist countries in the region in NATO and the European Union. Bibliography
