Gunwinyguskie languages
gunwinygus languages - the second largest, after the Pan-nugong, Australian family of languages spoken in Arnhem, northern Australia. The name of the whole family comes from gunwine, the language of the most numerous, one and a half thousand, a group of users.
Although the importance of gunwine languages is widely recognized, the inclusion of some less well-known isolates is controversial. The Ethnologue edition, for example, includes the Burar languages and the languages of the cockatoo and enindhilyagwa, which are not included here (see macrogunvinyin languages).
