Jacek Uczkiewicz
Jacek Uczkiewicz (born 4 July 1950 in Nowa Ruda) is a Polish politician, government official.

In 1973 he graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Wroclaw University of Technology, then got his doctorate in technical sciences. Before 1990 he belonged to the Polish United Workers' Party. In the years 1973-1990 he was a researcher at the Wroclaw University of Technology.
In 1993, on behalf of the Democratic Left Alliance, he was elected to the second term of office from the district of Wroclaw. He represented the National Parliament in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. In 1995 he resigned his mandate as a vice president of the Supreme Chamber of Control. After leaving the NIK in 2001, he was appointed deputy finance minister in the government of Leszek Miller. In May 2004, he was appointed a Polish auditor at the Court of Auditors of the European Union, which he held until 2010. In the same year he became a candidate of several leftist groups for the mayor of Wrocław. In 2013 he was re-appointed to the post of vice president of the Supreme Chamber of Control. He ended his employment on June 30, 2016 with retirement. Bibliography
