Low kick

Low kick - A kick-boxing formula where low knee kicks are allowed in the thigh or calf. The name is derived from the English name low kick ("low kick").

In the European kick-boxing formula, Low Kick is the most contact type. The fight consists of rounds. One round lasts 3 minutes, unlike in other formulas. There are at least three rounds, but in professional kick-boxing there are 12 rounds. There is no kick limit in one round. Illegal techniques include knee kick and elbow strike and all techniques that are prohibited in the box. Unlike the other kick-boxing formulas, competitors only fight in shorts and without leg pads.
