Michał Wojciech Gąsienica Szostak (born 24 August 1936 in Zakopane) is a Polish sculptor and teacher. Curriculum vitae

He graduated in 1956 from the State High School of Fine Arts in Zakopane. He studied at the State College of Fine Arts in Gdańsk (since 1996 the name of the Academy: Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk), he received a diploma from the Faculty of Sculpture in 1961. In the years 1961-1969 he worked as an assistant in the Sculpture and Architectural Design Studio in the Gdansk PWSSP. In 1973-1981 the director and deputy director of the State High School of Fine Arts. Antoni Kenar in Zakopane. The father of Zakopian sculptor Karol Gąsienica Shostak (1963). Bibliography
