Sylwester Gajewski
Sylwester Gajewski (born December 15, 1950) - Polish politician, farmer, senator of the second and third term of office. Curriculum vitae
He is a graduate of the Technical School of Mechanization of Agriculture in Tczew (1969). Until 1974 he worked at the State Machine Center. Since 1976 he has been working for a farm specializing in poultry farming in Gruszczyce (affiliated to the National Poultry Council).
In 1970 he joined the United Peasants' Party, then became a member of the Polish Peasant Party. On behalf of the party in 1991-1997 he was the mandate of the senator II and III term, elected in the Sieradz province (in the third term of office he chaired the Agriculture Committee). In 1997, he did not get a mandate and withdrew from his current policy.
Awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of the Rebirth of Poland (1999).
Since 2007 he has been on the board of the Federation of Employers' Unions - Leaseholders and Farmers. It belongs to Agro Business Club.
