The Damning Well

The Damning Well was an American rock supergroup that featured guitarist Wes Borland (with Limp Bizkit), bassist Danny Lohner (former member of Nine Inch Nails), singer Richard Patrick (with Filter and Army of Anyone) and drummer Josh Freese (A Perfect Circle, Suicidal Tendencies, The Vandals, Guns N 'Roses). The band released only one song in 2003 - "Awakening", which was included on the soundtrack of the film Underworld, although the producer of the album material was Terry Date. Borland, Freese and Lohner also formed another band - Black Light Burns, considered the spiritual heir of The Damning Well, using part of their work. (See Cruel Melody)
