Andrzej Sontag


Andrzej Sontag (born 26 April 1952 in Lublin) is a Polish athlete, three-time player. Olympian from Montreal (1976).

Curriculum vitae

He graduated from the Faculty of History at the University of Warsaw. Maria Skłodowska - Curie in Lublin (1976). The club's players: AZS Lublin and Start Lublin. Athletics instructor at AZS Lublin, history teacher at Primary School No. 7 in Lublin, adjunct professor at Sport and Tourism Museum in Lodz, official in the Voivodship Office and Marshal's Office, sports judge. She lives in Lodz. Achievements

Bronze medalist of the European Championships in Rome (1974) with a score of 16.61 m. 3rd place also won in the final of the European Cup in Nice (1975 - 16,32 m). Indoor champion of Poland (1976).
