Enterokoki

Enterococcus (Enterococcus) - a type of Gram-positive or anaerobic cereal of the Firmicutes type.

Enterococci are usually found in the form of split and difficult to distinguish from Streptococcus bacteria. They have a group D antigen, which (unlike streptococci) is located between the cell wall and the cytoplasmic membrane. Two species are commonly found in the intestines of people in which they live on the principle of comitism, they are more frequent Enterococcus faecalis (90-95%) and less common Enterococcus faecium (5-10%). Enterococci are relatively anaerobic organisms, preferring oxygen breathing. They are resistant to bile and cause haemolysis of any type. They grow in broth with 6.5% NaCl.
