Zbigniew Galek
Zbigniew Galek (born 29 March 1947 in Malechowa, 28 February 2008) is a Polish politician, self-governor, farmer, deputy to Sejm I and II term. Curriculum vitae
He graduated in 1966 from the Technical School of Mechanization of Agriculture in Swidwin. He ran a large farm.
In the years 1991-1997 he was a member of the 1st and 2nd term of the Polish People's Party from the Koszalin-Słupsk and Słupsk districts. For many years he was the head of the Postomino commune. In 2006 he was selected in the first round, receiving 81.77% of the vote. He belonged to the PSL and the People's Democratic Party, and later he was non-party.
In the early 2007 parliamentary elections, he was unsuccessful in running for the Left and Democrats.
He died of cancer on February 28, 2008, was buried in the municipal cemetery in Slavonia on March 1, 2008. Bibliography
