Zdzisław de Pourbaix (born January 29, 1918 in Włodzimiercu, died October 13, 1943 in Warsaw, at Piękna Street), a member of the Army Reserve and the Home Army, awarded the Silver Cross of the Virtuti Militari and the Cross of Valor. / p>
He was born as the fifth child of Kamila de Pourbaix and Maria of Miączyński de Pourbaix. He grew up under the watchful eye of the mother of Mary, graduated from the general school in Antonówka, then attended the 11th grammar school in Lviv, passing his high school diploma in 1936, attended also by his brothers Kamil Kazimierz, Kazimierz, Franciszek, Antoni.
He completed the XI cadet course in 1936-1937 at the Volyn Art Reserve Officer's College in Wolin. Marcin Kątski in Włodzimierz Wołyński's plutonium subordinates.
He participated in the September campaign, proving in the Battle of Wet II the 3rd Platoon of the 2nd Cavalry Brigade. Józef Sowiński. His brother Kamil Kazimierz, who was killed on September 1, 1939, was commanded by Platoon. He was active in the framework of the ZWZ and the AK, together with the brothers, trained the future cadets in Warsaw with pre-war military training. During one of the rounds in October 1943, he was captured and shot at Piękna Street. According to the family, he left his apartment on Mokotowska Street for the betrothal of his brother, Lieutenant Kazimierz, for the occasion he had set up "mansions" - it certainly caused immediate shooting. There is a symbolic grave on Powazki.
He was the second son of Kamil and Maria de Pourbaix, who gave his life for the Motherland. His siblings, Kamil Kazimierz, Kazimierz, Franciszek, Ryszard Boleslaw, Antoni, Zofia, and even the youngest Marian (born 1927), took part in the Polish underground.
