Andrzej Wieczorek
Andrzej Wieczorek (born October 24, 1948 in Torun) - Polish engineer, opposition activist during the People's Republic of Poland, was deputy governor of Mazovia. Curriculum vitae
He graduated in 1980 from the Faculty of Economics at the Technical University of Świętokrzyska. In the years 1967-1995 he was employed in the Warsaw Television Company.
In 1980 he joined "Solidarity". He was a member of the Founding Committee. After the introduction of martial law, he acted in the underground, distributed the press of the second circulation. He was interned for the period from 14 May to 12 July 1982. After his release, he continued to cooperate with the democratic opposition.
In 1988 he became a member of the Civic Committee. He participated in the deliberations of one of the components of the Round Table. In the 90's he was active in trade unions. Member of the Board of the Region of Mazovia NSZZ "S".
In the years 1998-2000, he held the position of the Wola district administration and then held the post of Deputy Prime Minister of Mazovia for a year. Since 2003 he has served as Deputy Director of Mazovian Center for Social Policy for several years.
Between 1991-1992 he was a member of the Center Agreement and later belonged to the AWS Social Movement. In 2004 he joined the Center Party.
In 2012 President Bronislaw Komorowski decorated him with the Officer's Cross of the Order of the Rebirth of Poland. Bibliography
