Old Jedliny-Zdroje Herb (until 2010)
This coat was accepted only in 2010. In the years 1976-2010 a coat of arms, which had a three-headed shield to the right in the bevel. In the upper right (heraldic) field is represented by a yellow circle surrounded by rays, symbolizing the sun. The center belt was blue, the white box in the upper corner of the belt, and the gold monogram J - the initials of the city. The bottom was green and represented schematically the mountains, between them was a white canopy from which the water jets gushed.
As in the earlier coat of arms, the symbolism referred to the location of the town in the mountains, the high sunshine and the health of Jedlina-Zdrój. In the earlier model, established in 1976 by the Municipal Council, there was no monogram. Another was the arrangement of the elements: the sun was in the middle of the shield in the blue field, the two hills had the shape of hills with gentle slopes, the canopy was red and the blue water gushing there.
This model was questioned by the Heraldic Commission at the Ministry of Interior and Administration as incompatible with the heraldry. As a result, the city commissioned the development of a new coat of arms for heraldry, Dr Dariusz Woźnicki. Its pattern is based on the pre-war formula by Otto Hupp, only minor details were changed and the Prussian eagles were replaced by Dolnośląskie. At the same time, a city flag design was also developed. The symbols were adopted by resolution no. XXXIII / 179/10 of 18 March 2010. Bibliography
