Konstantin Zerszczikow
Константин Федорович Зерщиков (born December 14, 1887 in Borozdinskaja in Russia, died May 25, 1949 in Seebach) - Russian military (colonel), emigre historian, Cossack officer Cavalry Regiment in the Russian Corps of Defense during World War II.
He graduated from the cadet corps in Jaroslaw, then the Nicolaeusian cavalry school. From 1907 he served as a regiment in the 1st Sunni-Raja cavalry regiment. In 1912, he went to the 4th Cossack Cossacks of the tsar's bodyguard. He participated in the First World War. He was awarded the Order of St. Włodzimierz 4 class. At the end of 1917 he defended the Cossacks against the attacks of the Bolsheviks. He then served in the col. Andrei G. Szkuro. In 1920 he served in the cavalry division of the Cuban Cossacks. After the evacuation of the white troops from Crimea to Gallipoli in November this year, he stayed on Lemnos island and settled in the Balkans. He worked in the construction office. He was the author of historical articles on the tsar's bodyguard. During the Second World War he cooperated with Germans. In 1942 he joined the Russian Protective Corps. Served in 1 Cossack cavalry regiment. After the war ended, he settled in western Germany. He died at Seebach Hospital on May 25, 1949.
