Otto Fleming
Otto Fleming (born 29 December 1696, died 24 November 1778) is a Swedish politician, military and diplomat.
Otto Fleming fought in the wars of Charles XII. As the disaster was announced by the Russians, he went to Paris with diplomatic support, along with Marshal Erik Sparre (1665-1726).
In the thirties and thirties he was an active member of the Hattpartiet (party of hats), the profrancic faction of the Swedish parliament. One of his closest friends was her leader, Carl Gustaf Tessin.
Between 1746 and 1747 he was the ambassador of Sweden in Denmark. In 1751 another leader of the hockey party, Carl Fredrik Scheffer, tried unsuccessfully to entrust Fleming to the embassy in Paris. Bibliography
