Principle of disclosure

Revelation Principle - The principle that says, "With every Bayesian-Nash equilibrium point in a limited information game, there is a coupled mechanism of disclosure that has a balance point where players report their honest odds."

For parental strategies, the disclosure principle was introduced by Gibbard (1973). Then this principle was extended to a broader solution in the Bayesian equilibrium, by Dasgupta, Hammond and Maskin (1979), Holmstrom (1977) and Myerson (1979). Bibliography
