Tadeusz Powałowski (born October 30, 1945 in Wągrowiec, died 11 January 2008 in Warsaw) - Polish electronics and social worker, specialist in ultrasound in medicine and biomedical engineering, professor of habilitation of engineering, vice chairman of the Acoustics Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw Branch of the Polish Acoustic Society, honorary member of the Polish Acoustic Society. Long-term employee of the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research PAN. He was editor-in-chief of "Archives of Acoustics."

For outstanding achievements for the Polish Acoustic Society, he was awarded the Medal of Honor. Mark Kwiek.
