Friedrich Wetzel (born 14 June 1909,?) is one of SS officers serving in the Nazi concentration camps and SS-Hauptsturmführer. He served in concentration camps as head of administration in Niederhagen (December 15, 1942 - April 18, 1943), Neuengamme (April 19, 1943 - July 31, 1944) and Dachau (August 1, 1944 - end of April 1945). Wetzel was responsible for the camps and accommodation of the prisoners.
Convicted in the Dachau crew by the American Military Tribunal for the death penalty by hanging. Judgment was changed in favor of 10 years of imprisonment.
