Maria Hensel
Maria Hensel from Chmielewska House (born 1920, died September 14, 2007) is a Polish ethnographer and an employee of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnology at the Polish Academy of Sciences. Author of valuable folk medicine works.

She was the wife of prof. Witold Hensel and their children are: former Head of the Polish Chancellery and archaeometal specialist and former Undersecretary of State in MENiS dr inż. Zdzisław Hensel, Dr. Leszek Hensel - former Ambassador in Bosnia and Herzegovina, now in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, senior custos of the Historical Museum Dr. Barbara Hensel-Moszczyńska and Dr. Wojciech Hensel (1997) - famous translator and turkologist, Polish Ambassador in Ankara.
Buried September 25, 2007, at the Powązki Cemetery in Warsaw. Bibliography
