The Polish Federation of Rural Tourism "Hostels" is a non-profit organization active since 1996.

In October 2007, 40 local and regional associations were formed. Associations associate individual accommodation operators in the field of agritourism (rural tourism).

The Federation cares for agritourism to develop intensively and at the right level. This development is not only dependent on the activities of the Federation, since each activity is conditioned by the existing legal provisions in the state. In addition, the cooperation of both governmental and local governments with non-governmental organizations is affected by smaller or greater development.
