Tata Güines

Tata Güines is actually Federico Aristides Soto y Alejoà (born June 30, 1930 in Güines, February 4, 2008 in Havana), Cuban musician. He won the game by playing kong. He was born in a poor black neighborhood in the town of Güines, east of Havana. Before he made the money for a real instrument, he played drums made from salads and condensed milk. He performed with the biggest Cuban stars - Arsenio Rodríguez, Chano Pozo, Bebo Valdes or Israel "Cachao" Lopez. In 1957, Güines moved to New York, where he began collaborating with jazz fame. with Dizzy Gillespie, Maynard Ferguson or Miles Davis. Although he enjoyed the fame he gained in the United States, he could not get used to the American way of life. In one of the interviews, he mentioned that it was the most racially ravaged in the United States in those days. So in 1959 Güines returned to Cuba. A few months earlier Fidel Castro had gained control of the island. Dad Güines initially supported the new power - he gave them some of the money he made in the US. Over the years he fell into oblivion. In 2004, he reminded the world of himself during a concert to celebrate the Latin Grammy Awards. It was with the pianist Bebo Valdes and the Spanish flamenco singer Diego El Cigala. Their program was called "Lagrimas Negras" - "Black Tears". The cause of the death of Taty Güines was kidney infection. Authoritative control (person):
