The dam, made of concrete, has a width of 22 m and a height of about 4 m. Inside it contains power plants. Kaplana turbines placed below the bottom of the river drive two generators with a power of 120 kW each. After the war, closed, reopened in 1975. Generator repair was performed by Gdansk University of Technology. The dam is an important water hazard on Parsęta, which hinders the migration of salmon fish to spawning grounds. Existing fish passage is defective. The owner of the power plant is Koszalin Elektrownie Wodne Sp. with o.o.
