Radzymin's coat

Radzymin's coat

Radzymin's coat - is shown in the blue shield of the Providence surrounded by silver rays. The coat of arms refers to two events in the history of Radzymin. In the early 17th century, the city was hit by a plague, the so-called. mighty air. The inhabitants recognized the effect of prayers and crosses of mercy, and it was believed that the city was watching Providence. The second event took place on August 15, 1920 - a reflection of the town from the hands of the Bolsheviks during the Polish-Bolshevik war, later called the miracle of the Vistula, also attributed to the care of Divine Providence over the city. The coat of arms was approved by the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Poland in 1936. Bibliography
